DIY Bathroom Makeover Part One

Alright so you all seen my bathroom design, if not here is a reminder

Bathroom Design

Let’s get this project started! I went to Home depot in search for the materials needed for this makeover.

I took a few blue paint swatches home to the boyfriend so we could come to an agreement on the right blue. We agreed we wanted something light and decided to go with Behr Premium Plus Ultra – Millstream UL230-12

Here are the before pics

Although it looks orange the before color is in the coral family.

The boyfriend started by prepping the room. He cleared the space by removing any objects and furniture. He used a large drop cloth to cover the bathroom floor. Next, he removed the cover plates from the switches and outlets. And lastly he taped the edges

He always starts painting by cutting in the edges.

He painted in the rest of the area with a roller.20120827-201459.jpg
Here it is all done. We love it!

The cost of the paint I believe was $27 with taxes.

Now, the next step is to cover those ugly brown and pink tiles. Stay tuned for Part two tomorrow.
