DIY Bathroom Vanity Makeover

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I want to share some pictures from our slow progressing bathroom makeover.

As a renter I believe in fixing up my rental space, especially if I plan on living there for several years. But, in a cheap and inexpensive way because I don’t want to spend a lot of money decorating a property that doesn’t belong to me.

I’m not a big fan of our bathroom, so I’ve decided to find affordable ways to spruce it up and make it easier on my eyes.

The first project we tackled were the old and tired bathroom vanity & medicine cabinet. The best way to freshen up those dull cabinet is with paint.

Remove all hardware and cabinet doors. Clean cabinetry and sand.

Behr premium plus paint and primer in one – Espresso Bean color from Home Depot

I love the color!!

I also bought new hardware.

Paint + hardware = $33.84

It looks 100% better and we have paint leftover that I think we’ll use somewhere else……not sure yet.  Stay tuned for more photos.
