Morro and Jasp do puberty by UNIT Productions

That’s right, Morro and Jasp are teenagers and puberty is finally here. This hilarious show explores the trials and tribulations that we all had to go through, are going through, or are about to go through on the way to becoming a grown-up. We bring you sixty minutes of laughter, longing, tears and tampons! Morro and Jasp do Puberty is not recommended for kids.

I saw the hilarious Morro and Jasp tonight, for the Canadian Comedy Awards Festival. The fabulous duo is nominated for Best Comedic Play! I’m not surprised though. These two clowns are engaging to watch and are exceptionally quick on their feet, especially when playing with the audience (talk about amazing improv skills). My first Morro and Jasp experience was at this years Toronto fringe festival where I saw “Morro and Jasp gone wild”. I was blown away by how funny and clever the clown sisters and show was. I don’t know why it took me so long to finally see a UNIT Production!  After the first show, I was hooked and had to see more of their work. I’m glad I had the opportunity to see puberty tonight and I’m also happy to be collaborating with UNIT Productions (see current projects). Ladies I hope you WIN, and take home the trophy!!

Up Your Nose and In Your Toes Productions (UNIT) is a non-profit theatre company dedicated to breaking social norms and identifying the flaws that we, as a society, work hard to cover up. Through energetic and unapologetic work mixed with a covert and multi-disciplinary approach, we seek to help people rediscover joy, truth and creativity, not as a passing moment but as an important part of everyday life. We hope to heal the world one smile at a time. For more info check out http://www.morroandjasp.com/!
